TRS19 SP1 - specular shine still not fixed

It is so disappointing to find that specular shine on things with m.onetex and m.tbumptex textures is still not working in TRS19 SP1. Things that were made to be shiny look flat and lifeless in TRS19.

There are hundreds of thousands of "legacy" assets that will never be upgraded to PBR textures. Are we really meant to accept that TRS19 won't ever render these things in a way that looks close to how they were intended?
 
I agree with this too.
There's a lot to like in TRS19, but the lighting/visuals are far from perfect, the original slogan of 'see Trainz in a Whole New Light' is so accurate. :o
Yes you can twiddle with the lighting to a certain degree, but I can't put the life back into the matt-finish items.
 
Yeah, it’s such an obvious flaw, but they put no effort into fixing it in the first service pack. Unbelievable. TRS19 is supposed to be the bees knees in graphics, but it absolutely ruins the 2 main legacy texture types. It’s not like this is an under-the-hood thing that only affects 1% of users, it’s a glaring deficiency that everyone sees.
