trs 2019 asset downloads

Hello People,
I recently purchased trs 2019 and when I start the game the asset download window appears..Lovely:cool:..I then started to download what I believe was named 'trs 2019 additional content'. After downloading one or two parts I was called away ( I am looking after a frail and elderly mother ). Doing so I exited trainz 2019 and shut the pc down...On returning to continue the downloads I found that all the parts of that particular title I was downloading had disappeared including the ones I was yet to download...How do I get them back so that I can continue please?:confused:.

umphies - That's an easy one - simply go to Launcher, File menu and click on the 'Download purchased items' option at the bottom of the list.
It should then restart the downloads the next time you restart TRS19.
Might pay to perform a Quick database repair prior to this so that Content Manager knows what parts you are missing...
 
Ok - then you might need to determine which of your 'Packages' is not complete by going to Content Manager and running the 'Faulty' (assets) filter.
It will show the routes or sessions that have missing dependencies.
Get the name of the route so that we can identify which 'package' is involved.

Your Payware packages and TRS19 route bundles are delivered to your 'packages' folder which is contained within your Userdata folder.
They mostly come in many parts (called prosaically 'SCxxx-(a-f) or 'Route-name - Part 1', "~part 5', etc. Some have up to 14 parts!)

If we can identify which package has only a fraction of its components, then you can simply delete all the items starting with that same package name, run a database repair, and then redownload the packages again upon program restart.

But before you do any of this, try this simple trick first:

Go to the TRS19 Launcher, Trainz Settings... Internet tab and remove your User ID credentials (hit the tab key to get the authorisation server to acknowledge the change) and then re-enter them correctly again.
When it tells you that your MyTrainz login has succeeded, try downloading your purchased items again.
If that works, great! If not, use explorer to visit your Userdata\packages folder as outlined above.

The other way to force it, is to go to the location of your data folder and delete the contents of the packages folder, run a quick database repair and start TRS19, the packages should then appear for download.

Many Thankyous for your suggestions...Will try them and let you know what happens . Might take a while as I am old and very slow.
 
Hipp Hipp Hooray. I now have it all back. Being a bit of a woos I did 'grazlash's suggestion . deleted packages folder etc Just means I will have to start downloads again like I just opened the game for first time..I don't mind though.
