TRS 2009 Multi industry new

Multi industry has stopped working can't load or unload anything all the fields that are used to set inputs and outputs are empty. Have tried doing an extended database repair but remains the same. anyone any idea as to how I can fix this problem has worked fine for years but all of a sudden it stopped working on routes I have created.

Lots of talk about Multi Industry lately. I read one thread that seemed to indicate the problem is caused by a product that is faulty. Have you downloaded and installed any new content recently, anything that could interact with the MI?

Usually, problems like that are caused by faulty assets (products)

Might be worth checking Content Manager to see if there are any of them (using Category: Commodities and Faulty:True)

Yes I downloaded some new commodoties last week you think that is the problem and if so how do I repair, thanks Keith.

Have a look at my other post in this thread - that will give you the details on what to search for in Content Manager.

Once done, you can either fix the issues (which you can find by right-clicking the asset and clicking View Errors and Warnings), or delete the offending assets.

Hmm no errors no warnings everything seems to be ok.

That's odd - are you sure you have checked your commodities for errors fully there?

If you have, what I would advise doing is checking any recently installed assets and seeing if they are faulty.

Had the same problem in TR2006 it seem to have fixed its self

Hi,

Shane is right he sorted mine out...
None showed errors, so what i did was in CM ,I check day by day what i had installed and delete them ,then checked in game each time to see if it was running..

Surprise it worked again

then you have a something missing in a product,,,, i had some missing
kuids in a product , when i found the prouct that had the missing kuid i just truned it off and it stated to work,,,

Well thanks a lot chaps I disabled all the commodoties that I downloaded recently and it seems to have cured the problem. All seems to be working fine at the moment. thanks again lads I don't think that I could have solved the problem on my own.

now look at each one in cmp, look at the depenices and see if there anything missing
