Well, you could try downloading the older versions of Net Framework if you can find them, and install them. I don't believe they interfere with or over write each other, but you probably want to do a little more research than to just take my word on it...:o

Well, if so there is no fix for PaintShed to work. I have Vista and TRS2006 with SP1 and it won't load, same error everytime, it just doesn't work.

Sorry, as far as I know there is no fix.

Why dosen't Trainz Classics have paintshed? Is there any possible easy way to make a skin?
 
TRS2006-Vista-Paintshed

It is a severly limited program, that only can create a couple dozen types of certain paintshed template, cars and loco's...you are not missing much. But it does work. It is all with how you put a shortcut on your desktop, from the Trainz CMP paintshed exe file. I moved it under the TRS2006 file, and now it works. I also downloaded Paintshed from somewhere, free ??? Uninstalled the original, and replaced it in the Auran files under TRS2006 somewhere. I deleted all the foriegn country language files, except for the "US Lang"...now I get no error notice. It now works

I'm using Trainz Classics and 2006. When I try to use Paintshed 2006, Nothing appears I jst get the windows and the background.

PC info:

Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit 3 gb RAM Dell Inspiron 531S

Hey I have Windows Vista Home Premium edition (32 bit) and Trainz Classics in 2006 (I use 2006 now I accidently screwed up classics) And Paintshed won't load? I get the window and the blue background. Nothing else. When I tyr to close it it won't close and the X button starts to blink...

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!
 
(single R click on the TRS2006 Desktop icon) Try opening the TRS2006 File, and by going into the TRS2006 files/bin, and dbl L click on the TPS2006 icon. See if it starts working. If error messages, or US lang errors come up...it needs fixing...but it is easy...I deleted all of the other TPS foriegn lang files, and left the US lang file intact.

Like I said earlier TRS2006 Paintshed is an extremely limited progam, that can only do a dozen or so locomotives and cars...and virtually nothing can be imported into it (besides photos, textures, cut and paste RR emblems...etc...). Mine worked...then I broke it somehow, because I uninstalled TRS2006 several times...Eventually I uninstalled it...and re-downloaded it from a site....I think it was GAURC.

It does a fairly good job painting and renumbering locomotives, and cars.
I did my PRR-TGV in it....and it is available on DLS.

Let us know how you make out fixing it. so it works.

Paint Shed (PS) was a separate program available for TRS2004 and was an integrated part of TRS2006. It is not part of TS2009. TS2009 does include all of the PS traincars for compatibility with PS repaints. I think that if you can get a copy of the standalone PS program you could create traincars that you could use in TS2009.

I only had "Trainz_Paint_Shed_us.lang" at start and not working?

I don't know if this helps, but for US posters, I recently purchased a copy of UTC at BJ'S wholesale for $6.99. It includes a working copy of PaintShed incorporated into the program with it's own icon. Just click on the icon and away you go. This version of UTC may also be available on the internet. Mine is Trainz 1.5.
