trianz 2006 might not be right place

i have been trying to reload ts2006 on computer as i would like to try it again i bought original disk in 2006 and have key but it keeps asking for disk when i try to open i put disk in and does not recognize it Evan since i used disk to put it on pc with proper code screen comes up and try but no askes for disk tried running in compatible mode no sucess running widows7 64 sp1 with amd duel graphics with 8 gb ram and amd6 dual core processor works great with 2009 and 2012 any advice would be helpfull or i need older pc dan

You antivirus should be temporarily disabled during download, and click the "explore disc", and run Trainz.exe "as administrator" (or something like that) then the UAC doesn't complain) or set up a folder outside of C\Program files ... and name that folder "Trainz" ... anbd install TRS2006 there.
