TRC US Co 1L scenery, TRC crossing gate doesn't work in TRS22.

TRC US Co 1L scenery doesn't work in TRS22 and probably didn't in TRS19 either.

The gate is missing this line from the config.txt:

custom-category-list "TRC"

This line is required for the gates to work properly.

Properties dialog is a bit of a mess too. Text and bg the same color, and some assets having options for bits they don't have.

I've had to fix several to be able to use them, and that missing tag vexed me for quite a few days.

Yup, I've run into that too.

I also forgot to mention, thanks to a phone call, that this one is packaged which means it can't be fixed locally. In the end, I found it easier to use the tried and true ATLS system.

I've hadn't had any problems with said TRC Crossing in TRS19, once I add a second TRC Trigger on the opposite side of the road facing the opposite way from the original TRC Trigger.

So, this is a TRS22 thing then. I now recall these working okay after the updates and fixes applied in TRS19. In the end, I resorted to the tried and true ATLS system and everything works fine. They're a bit more complex but they work fine for my needs.

I prefer the TRC over the ATLS because of one thing: switching. When you activate an ATLS crossing, you have to cross all the triggers associated with it, regardless how long your train is and if you activate any more crossings while trying to de-activate the first crossing, which I found very irritating when switching. With TRC, you don't have to worry about that. If you activate the crossing and stop before the crossing, the gates go back up, and then come back down when you start heading towards them.

Yes, exactly that's what's ideal with this system. Luckily on my route this is a branch line with no switching involved, otherwise things would've been a mess.
