Tranzdem Problems?!?!

-Is anyone having problems connecting to terraserver through tranzdem? I've never had this problem before and wondering if its just me. it keeps telling me,
Error sending HTTP request.
Possible cause:
- No connection to the Internet.
- Unknown or invalid URL.
i know its not my internet connection and i know its not the url cause i can get a couple a pics pefore it even says this and i can connect to toporama no prob. but that doesn't help me. is there an alternative to terraserver that can give me the same info as terraserver does? any comments and or help is appreciated!

If the WMS isn't working there's a few sites that have the individual map sheets available to download. Topoquest http://www.topoquest.com/ is one and there are a few others out there. Libremap http://libremap.org/ is another useful link. It may take a bit of trial and error to find the sheet(s) you need and you need to crop the edges off in a paint program before loading in Transdem and georeferencing the four corners.

You might actually finds this gives better results, last couple of times I tried setting up a US route via WMS, the resolution translated into Surveyor was incredibly fuzzy.

If all else fails you could always use the Google/Yahoo/Open Street Map function in Transdem to overlay the mapping instead though these tend to be much simpler than the topographic maps.
