Trainz2009 Build 38869

I have recently purchased Trainz2009 and am quite disappointed with the following things, which I hope community members or the Forum Staff will be able to help me with.

1. The manual that came with my Disc is the Trainz2006 Manual ???
2. I can't enable automatic updates under Options.
3. I can't manually install any Service Packs because my Build is reported as being Build38869 and there are no updates for that version of the game that I can see.

Any help you guys would be much appreciated.

Take a look at this thread. There is information and links to service packs. If yours isnt listed there I am sure that someone else will know where you can get it. If its not an Auran version and is from another supplier such as 'Just Trains' then you will need to get it from their website not Aurans.

I dont know about the included manual because I dont have 2009 but I undertsand that 2006 and 2009 are similar so the manual that you have should at least get you started.

I am sure that I have read a thread somewhere that says that automatic patching does not work until you have patched to SP1?? (or something like that). Update your current version by using the link in the thread above and see how you get on.

Sorry that I cant be more specific but as I dont have 2009 I am relying on informatio that I have read about it.
