Trainz 2022 is showing its true dull, lackluster colors!

I have sent the following notes into N3V with my Settings/Install tab logs as follows:

Issues with chase camera. Chase camera angle moves upward pointing down at train when train exits tunnel and out of range of a lineside camera. This is in a situation whereby lineside mode is active, there is a lineside camera at either portal of a tunnel and the chase camera was previously at a low angle near track level BEFORE the focused train entered a tunnel (underground). This also holds true when there is an Underground Boundary Trigger by boat at either end of the tunnel. If the chase camera angle was set low before the focused train entered the tunnel, it should be low again after the train exits the tunnel and is out of range of any lineside camera since lineside views default to chase views when out of range of any lineside camera. The Underground Boundary Trigger by boat automatically switches camera to in-cab mode from lineside or chase modes. In TANE SP4, the chase camera did in fact keep its original set camera angle intact (a low position in front of the focused train near the track railheads) following the train’s exiting a tunnel with Underground Boundary Triggers in place at either tunnel portal. This failure of the chase camera to keep its set position during a driving session (in and out of tunnels) even with the proper employment of Underground Boundary Triggers makes Train Railroad Simulator Platinum Edition highly unappreciable to me.

PS - I tried substituting the boat trigger with the <kuid:166065:114191> EMT Tunnel/Underground Boundary Trigger from euromodeller, but the chase camera is doing the same old chit again, going way up in the air from track level and pointing downward when the damb train comes out of the tunnel. I wish Trainz had a camera setting to switch to in-cab (instead of chase) whenever a lineside camera is out of range.

The title of this thread ("lackluster colours") seems to have absolutely no relation to its content ("issues with the point of view of the chase camera").

How are you reporting these issues to N3V? Are you using the official Bug Reporting System at or are you using some other means - personal message/conservation, email? The "note" you included in the OP is not in a format that would be used in the Bug Reporting System. If you are not using the bug reporting system then I suspect that you would be very unlikely to get a reply.

My observations.

Jon, wishing that Trainz 22 cameras would work in the way you desire, is not a bug.
Trainz 22 is not TANE, nor is it Trainz 19, it works a little differently and in the case of Trainz Plus, very differently. Ever since you bought Trainz22 you have bagged it incessantly because it was not built to meet your expectations and worse, complained about a route builder for things which are out of their control, for a route which does not meet your exacting standards. (whatever they may be, as I am yet to find ANY examples of your PERFECT tracklaying for comparison)
In future if you have an issue with something in Trainz, maybe you could ask for advice rather than complaining and ranting.

Each version of Trainz has its own quirks, for some reason they remove some features that were really good, but its no use complaining about it here all the time because it is what it is, and they aren't going to change it just for you. Why don't you go back to TANE ? , you will (hopefully ) be happy and we won't have to put up with you moaning about how horrible the latest version actually is. I've complained quite a lot myself over the years but not incessantly for weeks on end .....
