I'll second this...it seems to be a common problem with manuals/tutorials in general. The folks who write/edit the manuals are well versed in the coding and or use. They tend to assume and skip over the most rudimentary parts. I can explain how to build a tube type audio amplifier, but if you don't know what a rectifier does, you get nowhere. I see this thread is already getting into Gmax & content creation. To me, that would seem very advanced.
I'm not knocking this idea, but, please bear in mind the "keep it simple" and understandable, principles.
That said, I'm glad to help in any way I can.
Now the nice part about the wiki is you can edit the tutorial to either say this is not clear or to clarify the tutorial.
