Trainz Update

Hi guys, Although I purchased Trainz 2010 Engineers Edition I had little time to play until now due to a very busy program. I would like your suggestions as to what the best upgrade will be for me as a relative newcomer to the game. Should I go for the latest version(s) or should I gradually build up my collection? Any other relative suggestions will also be appreciated. Looking forward to your replies. Thanks and regards. Johan

If you have an nVidia GTX 970 or better buy TANE, otherwise TS12 will probably make the most of your hardware. The earlier assets will normally run without too much problems.

Another thing to be aware of in addition to what John has said - if you've got a 32-bit Windows version then TS12 is the highest you will be able to go to as T:ANE requires a 64-bit version (Windows 7 or later).
