Trainz unable to open Trainz asset database

For some reason my TS12 cannot open and it keeps telling me to restart or reinstall but restarting doesn't fix anything and I dont want to reinstall yet due to the amount of new assests I dont want deleted. I was just on it 30 minutes ago and uninstalled a few applications arbitrary to the function of TS12 and now its not working. Help
