Trainz offline

I had this happen yesterday. We have been told trainz will work offline many times, and yes up until yesterday I've had no problems if my network was down. Taddamon decided it needed to do it's usual update. and as usual at the most inopertune of times. Well! it started to run and low and behold it quit with an error message that Taddamon was throwing a tantrum and was going to make my life more miseable than usual by not working at all. Upon futher investigation I found that it was trying to use the internet to, I guess access the download station. I could not do anything with trainz until Taddamon was given its daily ration of internet access, Using my wifes verizon hotspot until my new dsl modem get's here , now running like a champ, so beware folks this could happen to you - they lie!
