Strange, I got an e-mail of a correction to one of the slides/pages, but never the actual e-mag (either Dec or Jan).
Anticipating a high Spam Assassin rating as a problem (anything over 30 is discarded before it hits my mailbox), I sent an alternate e-mail address as well, but that mailbox remains empty too.

JRT you would probably have 590 members if you just placed all the .jpg's into a PDF file and let people download it from your site. Also, you suggest people print the magazine out, but each page is so ink hungry the last issue would use $15-20 worth of ink. Removing the tinted background would be a great start, using smaller fonts and photos to get more material on each page would also help. Finally, you have four or five pages flogging Trainz 2009 and Auran. I think most readers already know what and who both are. By all means keep up the ads, but please don't make them full page. The last issue could have easily been condensed down to a maximum of 5 pages.

Please keep at it, but it would be great if you could do a bit of refining.

Perhaps publishing as a Word document would be a possible alternative. Most folk have this on their computers and if not then the wonderful Open Office freeware is totally compatible with all of the MS Office Suite.

I agree Terry. You can also download a free Word Viewer from Microsoft. Anything would be better than converting whole pages to jpg files. If JRT used Open Office, he could then covert the document to a PDF so everyone could read or print it. I guess Word offers the same facility.

The reason I wanted to do an email magazine is so I can keep track of how many members read the magazine. Also, I wanted to send the magazine to everybody automaticaly so they did not have to download it over and over again.

That is an idea to turn it into a PDF file but it is just as easy to save it as a JPG.file. Letting people download it is good but that means that people would have to download it over and over and if I had to make a change to the magazine there is no way to tell them that I have an update. I will look in to changing the back ground.
