Trainz Eastern Route: Dayton County Industry

When used right the speedtrees look pretty good. Nice looking route, but please go find the nearest scrapyard and place the default TS09 SD40-2 there, anything third party is better even Sporbusts old SD40-2's.

You're sending out mixed signals here; do you care, or not? I'm confused!

Well it gets rather annoying when the response I get is about how ugly speed trees are. They are really the only thing I can use because everything is else either faulty or obsolete. So yes I care about the speedtrees response :P.

Hey! I thought you were retired!

Use the trees you want. Some individuals will try to pressure you into doing things their way but they're wrong to do so. Suggetsions are one thing but pressure tactics are unacceptable.
There are a few other trees that worked in TS2009 that might work but only replace Speedtrees if you wish.
Nobody has the right to "fix" your route based on their tastes. A lot of the route builders mentioned as high-quality and such did things their way as they developed, sometimes people forget that.

Thank you StorkNest for supporting my opinion. JVC has some really nice 3D native mode content that I have also placed throughout the route. I am having a real hard time finding content thats not faulty/obsolete for floral scenery.

Yes, I see the JVC trees.
Some tried to tackle tree making under new standards or reworking older standards.
I know jankvis, TNM and ... I keep thinking I won't get the name right ... klempen? released trees using the new method, the last creator posted links to an Oak tree in a few sizes in the forums called ADK Oak. Lot Trains released trees with new images but the old method on DLS. Others worked and tried, either they are still working or left foliage behind.

@Evan123 Great work! I think the speed trees look good :) . I like them when they're used right and you're doing a great job of it. Those pine trees are my favorite too.

One question. What are the specs on your computer. I couldn't help but notice your comment about turning up the setting all the way with no lag. My new computer is in the mail and I'm just curious if I'll get that kind of performance with that level of detail.

Thanks Joe,

it's an Intel Q6600 2.4GHZ
3Gigs Corsair XMS2
x2 eVGA 9800GT SLI
XFX 680i LT mobo
Windows Media Center 05

The game runs like clockwork in native mode.

Awesome. That gives me some confidence about my new computer.

I'm looking forward to some more screenies. It's good to see someone using native mode. I personally don't but it's good to see it's worth it if you do.
