If you are running Windoz XP, you will need more memory for your PC a minimum of at least 1 GB, preferably more. Also in your game's settings/options you might lessen some of the details, drawing distances etc.
Your GeForce 5200 might/might not be up to scratch as the game is very graphic intensive and will need a middle order video card to run the game.
The reason why it takes so long for some scenes to load is, as you seem to have little memory, most of the details needed gets loaded on to your hard disk (as replacement memory storage) and consequently has to be loaded back from there into the game as needed by the game. As the hard disk gets read from and written to at the same time, you can see why this slows the PC down. This also creates a stutter or some waiting/stopping intermittendly to load more details into the scene as needed.
Trainz is a very demanding game graphic wise and one never will have enough memory playing it. My PC has 4 x 1GB memory modules installed for that reason.
