TRAINZ COLLECTION ERROR

Can anyone please help me with an error i keep getting? Everytime I go to run Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006, it bombs out as soon as i press the 'Surveyor' button or any others. Likewise, i tried running the TRS2004 and got a game hang. This is my first thread for this site and this error is really starting to peev me off because my father is the person who wants to play it. Okay, the error message reads as follows:

System Specifications are as follows:

Motherboard: ASUS CUSI-M
CPU: 733MHz
RAM: 1Gb
VIDEO: 16Mb (on-board)

The board is capable of being upgraded to meet the recommended specs for the Trainz Collection, except for the CPU speed, but I dont think that is the problem.

When I installed it, I got a prompt to make sure all the drivers were up to date. Im going to do that now as well as download the latest Directx9 to see how I go.

Your graphics are in addequate, best invest in a good graphics card i.e. ATI or Nvidia. Direct X looks ok. Processor doe's not look powerful enough min specs are 1.4 Ghz. Upgrade Ram to 2Meg or more. can't help any farther than this but other members are more Knowledgable than me. Hope this is a start to sorting your problem.
