Trainz and Trainz Driver won't open

Neither Trainz Simulator (1) or Trainz Driver will open on my iPad Mini. Previously both were fine but now the opening screen (N3V Games for Trainz & Trainz Driver logo for Driver) appears for a second or two then it goes back to my iPad screen. This started last night 20 Oct but I hadn't used either for a week or more so I don't really know how long it's been like that. Anyone else experiencing this?

Auran have advised they are aware of this problem which is result of the ios8 upgrade. They have been in touch with Apple and now it's a waiting game.......
