Perhaps they don't want to or are wary of doing so due to the risk of increased piracy. At least with DRM, the company can reduce piracy.

Eh. If N3V don't have plans to implement further DRM, then they won't lose sales because of DRM. That seems logical to me.An illogical conclusion, unsurprisingly.

Hmm, I don't know how that can seem logical. They are already losing sales because of the DRM they have implemented, and probably losing sales from some folks concerned about the next step. But, again, I am assuming they are operating logically as well.
I assumed that RRSignal is N3V's financial officer. He seems to be so well informed on plans, finances, sales figures, etc.Excuse me but how exactly do you know this? a few posts on here from the same few who complain about everything N3V ever does? You have access to N3V books? stick to facts please not fiction.

And what right do you have to effectively demand it's removal? Perhaps there may be a good reason why the DRM was added, perhaps it may be due to the fact that the DLC packs no longer require serial numbers and that the DRM is what manages that system.
I would suggest that you talk to N3V directly about this, as you may be causing yourself and those who support you more problems with this thread than it's worth.
Educated guesses. Well I guess you can't argue with educated guesses. Any educated guess could be true I suppose. No, but I own my own business, so I do have to know a bit about business and to make educated guesses about trends, finances, etc.
Even then, that does not give someone the right to demand the removal of something when they don't have the full facts on why it was implemented in the first place. Bear in mind that you already appear to have a reputation for demanding things and taking a dislike to what N3V does.
Shane
EDIT: I don't have a problem with you stating your concerns, but the way you are doing it is what is bothering me and others on this thread.
It depends. Sometimes an educated guess is not sufficient, sometimes it is. What I take a strong dislike to is how RRSignal is showing his dislike to DRM, especially when he could have done it privately with N3V.
Shane
Indeed, but it's no better than anybody else's either. My money is as good as anyone else's.
I don't have a problem with the thread, but I don't entirely agree with the conclusions (or guesses) drawn from the same available facts.I realize you dislike what is being said and are highly offended that some people dare to level criticism at N3V, but I suggest you (and perhaps paulhobbs and Amigacooke) re-read the original post: This thread was started becuase TONY HILLIAM REQUESTED THESE CONCERNS BE OUTLINED IN ANOTHER THREAD, in the Tane thread, post #92.
