Trackside Camera Range

Hello
Is there a way to adjust the range that a trackside camera can see trains. I have the camera set to 'tracking', sitting on a station platform and it works fine for arriving and departing trains. However, there is another line that runs in a valley on the other side of a range of hills. The track is out of sight from the platform. The problem is that if a train travels along the valley, the other side of the hills, the platform camera tracks that train when cameras are focused on that train. The camera is basically looking at the hills and following the unseen train until it is over a particular distance from the trackside camera.

Is there a way that I can adjust the radius of view so that the camera does not track the hidden train but just tracks the train in the platform?

I am using TRS22 Platinum.

Thanks

I have found a workaround, that of putting in a camera on the other track. However I am still wondering if there is a way of adjusting the radius of view.

There are several guides on the DLS that help with the placement of cameras by showing the range as a dome. Maybe you can find a spot to place the camera that would exclude the train beyond the hill.

Thank you. I will have a look at that. The new camera I put in while working ok for the track in question is interfering with another close-by track. I've had cameras in for some time but am now looking at improving the trackside views which will mean several more cameras around the layout.

Thanks martinvk for the tip. I'm getting to understand more about how the cameras work and together with the guide camera sphere I am adding new cameras with improved and more views.
