Trainz 2019 Newbie having Trouble With DLC Error

Out of all the Train Sims, I run Trainz 2019 the least. Because of some deals on DLC, I purchased the Mojave Sub Route, NS SD60E First Reponders, NS SD60E Veterans Unit and EMD SD40-2 NS. When I went to run the Mojave Sub Route, It wasn't functioning correctly and some weird things were going on with the coloring from inside the cab of one of the sessions that comes with the route. When I click on Content Store, then Purchased, I see the DLC Stuff I purchased. When I click on Install beside each, it doesn't successfully install but I get View Error beside each. When I click on view error I get the following beside the following:

Mojave Sub Route - Package installation failed to provide any of the expected packages for resource Steam:564290
NS SD60E First Reponders - Package installation failed to provide any of the expected packages for resource Steam:564690
NS SD60E Veterans Unit - Package installation failed to provide any of the expected packages for resource Steam:609290
EMD SD40-2 NS - Package installation failed to provide any of the expected packages for resource Steam:940400

It gives me the option to retry or cancel. When I click retry, the same thing happens. Any help to resolve this is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Click Cancel then check it's actually installed in Manage Content, it probably will be, there is a bug with Manage Content that seems to produce false error messages.

Thanks for the reply. When I click on Manage Content, there is a lot of stuff there depending on what I click there. What am I to click? Trainz 2019 is a whole different animal for me. Trainz period is all new for me. I never had previous versions. I appreciate your help.

In Manage Content change the Filter to Custom.

Where it says Asset KUID, click the arrow and change to Payware, leave installed as true and that should then only show Installed Payware, OK it's a bit disorganised so click the column header where it says Type and that will group things together scroll until you find Routes and see if they are listed, same with the locomotives which will show as Train.

If you want to get really technical you can add the category filter and change to whatever you are looking for such as Locomotive Route Rolling Stock and all manner of other things.

Note you can save the searches, give it a suitable name and it will appear in the Filter list.

I have done all you recommended I do. I can see the route and the locomotives. When I go to play a session in the Mojave Route, I can get seated in the locomotive but the controls doesn't move or react to any commands. I haven't tried placing one of the NS locomotives yet but if I do and I can't get the train to move because it will not respond to the forward, reverse and notch commands, what could be causing this. I tried another locomotive from a sessions menu and I could get those to move.

The question is, when you go to CM (content manager) as suggested and see the routes etc, do any of them have warnings about missing dependencies or any other warnings?

Okay I did as you said. I selected the SD60E Payware. I checked to see if there were any View Errors or Warnings. There were none. When I right clicked on SD60E Payware as showned below and selected List Dependencies Recursively, a few things popped up (I have trued unsuccessfully copy my snip and paste) What is my next move? Can I use this same process to look at the Mojave Sub Route? Is any of my problems being caused by the SP2 Update?

Name Status Asset ID
SD60E cab mechanism Installed, Obsolete, Payware kuid2:45324:90002:1

Thanks

"A few things popped up". That tells us nothing, you need to be specific, what did it actually say or show? You can go to CM and list dependencies for anything, and the question will be are any in red or saying anything that seems like a problem, eg missing dependencies, or faulty.

When I right clicked on SD60E Payware and selected List Dependencies Recursively, what popped up was:

Name: Status: Asset ID:
Cab Running Numbers Black Stencil Built-in kuid2:45324:28121:2
Jointed Rail Settings library v o.5 Built-in kuid2:45324:555201:2
Jointed Rail Train Effects library v 1.43 Built-in kuid2:45324:555246:4
LED Segment Green Built-in kuid2:45324:28126:4
LED Segment Red Built-in kuid2:45324:28125:6
Locomotive sound effects library v 1.3 Built-in kuid2:45324:54002:8
What is my next move? Can I use this same process to look at the Mojave Sub Route? Is any of my problems being caused by the SP2 Update?

Thanks,
Derick

And presumably they all show as "Payware Installed"? If so, then there is nothing wrong with that loco. Have you done a DBR (database repair)? If not try that, via the initial splash screen where it says 'Developer.' Click on that and select "Rebuild Database". Otherwise, it's beyond me.

I truly appreciate all your help. I read at Steam Forum others have had problems with DLC not working since the SP2 update. Some of the issues will not be addressed until after the holiday season. The people who can address these issues are out until then.
