Trainz 2019: Locks on Pause if over speed limit?

I'm going through the tutorials, and am finding that if I exceed the speed limit, I lose control of the train and the simulator pauses - and can't be unpaused.

(Tutorial must be restarted)

Is this a thing? I can't imagine this is correct.

IIRC, this is deliberate - you're not encouraged to speed!

When you get to some user scenarios, you'll get a warning about speeding, then have the "session terminated" message.

In real life, I guess you could be sacked....

Thanks... Eh... I doubt it. Seems like it would be pretty severe if someone spent hours in a scenario only to have it lock up because they slightly exceeded the speed limit.

A warning or some type of penalty, maybe - but not the loss of hours of "work", I would think...

I've never either seen any sessions where the game ended for speeding just once. Some do it if you speed three or more times, but you get warnings every time. Many will deduct points for speeding, usually for over 5 mph or Km/hr. One was stupid enough to do it for a mere 1 mph! The tutorial seems extreme, but I only ever did the ones in T:ane, not TRS19.

Definitely not intended (the permanent pause). Which build number? Which tutorial number?

Are you sure clicking the tick on the text box doesn't unpause things?
