Trainz 2009 carbon city

See how you get on there - in the meantime, I will see if I can find out more info.

Shane

P.S. Game data in Steam apps is in <steam install folder>/steamapps/common/<app name>
ok so i did the extensive database repair in trainz 2009, since classic carbon city wont allow me to access the content editor and the 2 errors were

Error: <kuid2:401543:1185:127> is present in multiple locations.
Message: 'base:script\ts2009 incubator icon' is not a valid asset and will be moved to the trash folder.
Message: <kuid2:60850:89003:1> has been found at a new location.
Error: Asset <kuid:-2:563669620> does not match the asset database record

I could try to import content but i honestly have no idea where the classic carbon city folder is, and i did look in the steam apps folder a few times.

Both of them are common errors in a database repair, and are not errors as such.

Did you check the folder I referred to in my last post?

Ok I tryed again and I still cannot find it. thanks for all your help

well that's 60 euros down the drain

i got carbon city originally and realized i could not use the editor.
i was sleep deprived when buying it so i then accidentally bought trains classics pack 1 and 2 thinking that would make surveyor work in carbon city.
then i bought trainz 2009.

all to get carbon city working.. :(

i could of gotten 3 nice routes for train simulator 2012 for that price.

thank you very much for all your time and help and for going out of your way to help me , I really appreciate it. so thanks very much.

Note: i just saw your last post i will check the forums and yeah i checked <steam folder>/steamapps/common/<app name>. 5 or 6 times.

I try my best, although sometimes, things do not go as planned.

It may be worth having a read in the TS2009 forum though, just in case a problem like yours has already been covered.

Find the ja file for Cabon and copy it to the builtin folder for the main trainz, this should work.
As I understand it from a post made ages ago about Steam, the format is the same but it's in the Steam folder somewhere, apparently you can run Trainz from there without even starting Steam, can't find the post for the moment though.

If you cant find where Cabon is obviously installed have a look through all the builtin folders the ja file will have an obvious name, it's probably in that 2010 folder as you don't appear to have 2010 full version?

Edit: Where are all these Trainz on Steam fans when you need them!
