when ever I go to content manager I get a error saying content manager plus has encountered a problem and needs to close.

please advise this happens in both trainz 2006 and trainz 2010

Check that your video drivers are up-to-date. CMP needs Open/GL to work properly.

In addition to that, parts of Content Manager also require .Net Framework (I cannot remember if it's 1.1 or 2.0 or both)

Are you sure cmp needs open gl to work? I have my display settings for trs2006 set for directx because the game wouldn`t work with it set for open gl. Or does it use open gl just for cmp? From what I`ve read on the forums it depends on the computer whether you use directx or open gl.

Yes, CMP requires OpenGL to operate (even if you are using DirectX rendering mode for Trainz itself)
