Trainz 12 - corrupt file when installing

Hi

bought trainz 12 yesterday after receiving the special offer. Downloaded all the install files (not using a file download manager).However, about 2/3 of the way through the install, I got a message saying ts12f.ja was corrupt.

Do I need to re download (and which part) or is this a known issue ?

I am using Windows 8(!)

I would recommend redownloading all the parts in case other parts are affected.

Just to let you know, if you're using Internet Explorer, you may still end up with a corrupt file.

P.S. FYI Windows 8 has not yet been certified to work with Trainz, so expect potential problems whilst using it.

Hi. I'm using Chrome at work on a MAC, so I'll see how that goes. Yes, expect a few teething issues with Win8 - only installed it to see how it works/doesn't work as I'm an IT manager.

Chrome should download files fine - I am interested to hear how you get on though.

Another vote for Chrome. Have downloaded hundreds of files with zero problems. Internet Exploder, now that's another story.

I am using Google Chrome as well. No problems ever. It is also very fast.

I use IE all the time without a downloader program. Have never had a problem and downloaded the full install many times. That is just my experience.
