Trainz 12 and a new computer

Hi,

I've been working on building my next PC for some time now, and I've been trying to get an idea of how well my build will perform in the games I am interested in playing on it (Trainz 12 of course is one of them).

I wanted some feedback from users, especially those who actually use Trainz 12 with these specs to help and provide me with any info or tips on the performance of the sim.

This a lowdown of my specs as of now (the important elements that affect the actual gaming performance):

Intel Core i5 3570k (OC'd to ~4.5 Ghz with sufficient cooling)

Gigabyte GTX 660 Ti 2gb

Corsair Vengence RAM (8 gb)

7200 RPM HDD and a 128 GB SSD

Single 1280x1024 monitor (It's all I can get for right now)

I've done part compatibility checks and I've looked into performance with other comparable simulators and games, and they seem to hold up. Any input from you guys on what it's like here is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I wouldn't bother clocking the cpu, it'll run 2012 ok at stock speed, nice card and enough ram. Looks a balanced rig.

Thanks for the input everyone.

I have a 1tb Caviar Black HDD and a Samsung 320 series 128gb SSD.

The SSD will have Trainz 12 and probably several Steam games I play the most. I don't know how much of a performance improvement there is in a SSD for Trainz, but I know it's a general winner for Windows and other games.
