Drove over Boreas Pass by car

Strangely enough, I've never seen the East Broad Top or the Roaring Camp and Big Trees...and I passed TEN MILES from the Hesston Steam Museum last year and didn't realize it. Also want to go back to Maine and cover some railroads there, ride the White Mountains Central in New Hampshire, ride the Mount Washington Cog under steam...argh, so much to do! I've still covered a pretty good amount of railroading sites though.

- Chased UP 844 through Missouri and Illinois
- Chased UP 3985 TWICE
- Chased Cumbres & Toltec Scenic twice
- Rode one of the last trains hauled by C&TS number 497 before its temporary retirement
- First narrow gauge engine ridden behind was the C&TS number 463
- Chased some standard gauge logging lines in Washington state
- Drove the entire Sherman Hill Union Pacific route
- Explored Pagosa Junction, Colorado, a well-preserved D&RGW station stop
- Drove entire Rio Grande Southern route THREE TIMES in an attempt to find landmarks
- Camped on Lizard Head Pass several times

I'm just a helpless railroad addict!

EDIT: Since everyone put these...

Horseshoe Curve...TWICE.

Gallitzin Tunnel--two hours and no trains.

I personaly think all museums are great because most are all volunteer and I myself have had the priviledge to volunteer at the Monticello Railway Museum in Monticello Illinois. Restoration is a huge undertaking and sometimes the funds just are not there. By the way I encouage all of you to visit MRM soon!
