outlaw77's Texas Central

Hi everybody, I've got a route that I've been working on for a while now, and I thought I'd give it a thread instead of hijacking the USA Pics. Not too long ago I saw a YouTube video of a Trainzer's route that was a "what-if" of the FEC Key West Extension, and it really got me to thinking about the railroad that once went through my hometown. It was the Texas Central, or "Tin Can" that ran from Waco to Rotan, TX. It was bought by the MKT in 1910 and all but about 25 miles of it was abandoned and dismantled in 1967. I decided to build a modern-day rendition of it, had it expanded beyond Rotan and made a Class I connection and was actually able to remain profitable as a bridge carrier. I've created the DEM and all the track, signaling, and trackmarks are in place, and it runs well, I just don't consider myself to be very good with scenery and details. I'd like to post some screenies of my progress, and my main purpose of this thread is to get some input from all of you great route builders out there. Any comments, questions, criticism, tips, and tricks will really truly be appreciated!

Cheers,
Cody

My first image is of an eastbound TOFC train about to pass the Hi-Wide/hotbox/dragging equipment detector at MP 68.5, about 8 miles from the crew-change in Walnut Springs, TX.
