Rotating camera in chase mode is unbelievably sensitive, with no option to change it

In the chase camera view, which is how I prefer to drive trains in sessions, the rotation sensitivity of the camera is way too high, with seemingly no option to change it. In the chase view of T:ANE, I can comfortably rotate the camera around 360 degrees once along the length of my mouse pad. In Trainz 22, this same distance rotates the camera 360 degrees 8-10 times. Because of how sensitive the camera is, the game is basically unplayable when driving trains. I've looked on other threads but was unable to find a solution. I don't want to have to return this game.

In TRS2019 you can slow down zoom, rotation and pan with (I think) the shift or ctrl key down while using the camera.
Try that.

The point of my post was that it doesn't work correctly with the mouse
If I am correct in understanding your issue, you are in Driver with the camera in chase mode and you are using the right mouse button to rotate the camera. I did just this and the rotation around the asset for a full 360 degrees required my mouse to move about 4 inches to the left or right.

I did not see a setting in the Driver Settings but I could effect the speed with my Logitech Gaming Software. By changing the DPI sensitivity settings I could both slow down the rotation(required a lot more mouse movement) and speed it up(less mouse travel). At the lowest setting possible, 200 dpi, I have to move the mouse about a foot to get 360 degree rotation. My normal day to day setting is 800 dpi. Now my gaming mouse has a button on it that adjusts the dpi setting. Perhaps yours does too and it has gotten pressed and raised your dpi to a higher than normal rate in TRS22? I have done this by accident myself. Or perhaps your mouse has the ability to save setting for specific games and the TRS22 profile needs to be adjusted.

BTW, the polling rate can be used to smooth out the rotation as well. I changed my rate to 1000 reports per seconds and the rotation was much smoother.
