Trains disappear or move to a another track???

I have to admit that I was only doing this for fun.....to see how many trains that I could have moving at one time. Other than hills and a couple mine buildings, a few roads, there is no other scenery as of yet. There is no AI being used at all. It is a 30x60 base layout. There are about 125 trains running all under manual control. Today, I have one train that vanished and another that jumped to another track. When I go down the list of drivers, I have about 12 that have not been assigned to a train.

How does a train vanish, another switch tracks, and so may drivers not assigned?

I had a similar problem awhile back on another layout: one train reversed direction on its own....the whole train flipped around and was going the opposite way.

This is a new computer and a fresh installation. Checking for faulty anything comes up blank.

Sounds an interesting route but you do seem to have a lot going on and at times Trainz does tend to have a mind of its own with many quirks few of which can be replicated by others. Unfortunately trains do get lost in portals should you be using them, trains also crash and disappear unless you have set them not to crash. If its the same train either crashing, disappearing etc. each time you run the route you really need to follow that specific train to discover where/when it is going wrong. Personally it has happens to me many times over the years and more often or not resulted from something I've done such as routing to the wrong track point and so forth. At times you do wonder but generally trains will try and follow your instructions even when with hindsight what you have requested was somewhat questionable and impractical. Peter

No portals used. Set not to crash.

I deleted the drivers with no trains and recounted running trains....141.

My guess is the program is running out of RAM or your GPU is. You are trying something the programmers simply never envisioned any one would try.

TRS22 or Trainz Plus ? (both report as Trainz Railroad Simulator 2022 in the Windows top bar).

If it is actually Trainz Plus then is the TLR active? The TLR works without any AI. That could explain some of your issues. The current retail release of Trainz Plus has an early (and buggy) version of this - the latest beta version has far fewer TLR bugs.

Just eliminating possibilities.
