track maintainance...

And I found this site too, I think the links lead to the sites, but we need someone who can speak the language, to find out how to download them...

click on the link here to see what I found... http://www.trainzkatalog.websnadno.cz/Vozidla_MTH.html?framebreaker

I'm off to find more

Just what sites were you having trouble finding the downloads on?
Those I've seen so far have nice download buttons with the word download in English. :) I did have a bit of trouble connecting to the first site link quoted here but that was apparently a temporary issue. The category names are not in English of course, but I go through each category anyways. I'm still working through the categories of that catalog site. Note that some of the EDK links on the rawer.euweb.cz site also has a link to the flat car shown in the pic. Looks like there are animated and non-animated versions of the EDK too. (Though exactly what it does when animated I have no idea. I'm still not sure just what that thing is.)

Note that there is one file there on the Vozidla_MTH page with no link which apparently is not available anywhere. (I've got a nice handy Google Translate bookmark on my Firefox links toolbar, it's really handy for stuff like this, though it's a good idea to have 2 copies of a site open and only translate one since it may mess up downloads.)

The site where the MVTV2 was hosted appears to be gone, but I found another one here:
http://www.uzkyrozchod.ic.cz/uvod.htm

And I found that site from this links page:
http://www.steamlocomotiveworks.com/links.php
(It was right below www.railwaysim.websnadno.cz which just gives me error messages when I try to go to it.)

Thank you Edricky for your reply, some of the sites are in mixed language including some English.

the link on this website...

http://www.trainzkatalog.websnadno.c...l?framebreaker

Takes us to a web page which displays various trainz content, however scrolling down the page, I come to an item called SVP 74 and I think it must be on the same webpage as T14/52.1, but when you click on the link for it, it takes you to a confusing foriegn page. On this page there is the word download, however, if you click on this, it takes you to more foriegn pages, and sometimes to the same foriegn page you were origionally on...

I was only after the CDP for the SVP 74 for Spoonless, as then he might have a decent selection of on-track plant machinery, just to get him by for now...

Most of the other on-track plant, we have managed to get hold of in places from various websites.

Plus, if we place as many on track plant CDP's on this post, then it saves others, searching everywhere for the content, as some of the items are not on the DLS.

Hope this makes sense and thank you for your help Edricky

SVP 74 is the one that's not available anywhere. The site that T14 is at is one you'd have to register for. The model may be available elsewhere though.

Edit: Just noticed there is a partial translation for their site, probably so people like you can register and download stuff:

For anyone who may be interested.

If you look under my username on the DLS (S301/ user ID 103475) you'll find a VR QN Ballast Hopper plus a VR N Ballast Plough, and some fixed track section 'VR Unballasted Track' in 10m and 50m versions. These three items (plus their dependencies) can be used to implement an operating ballast track system.

However, at this stage, the unballasted tracks will only accept one ballast load (and the ballast will only appear as the default ballast). You can change the tracks by connecting different track types, at least I think I left this function in.

You will need to use a MIN type industry (multiple industry new) to be able to load the QN wagons. The ballast load that the unballasted track uses is the 'VR Track Ballast' (the name is something like that :) ).

Right, I found them but CMP is telling me that I can't download them without a TRS2009 serial number (I'm still using 2006) but I still recomend checking them out.

Thanks for the useful information Zec,

I always appreciate all the help you give me, I downloaded the Ballast Plough, as this is the only thing I'm missing, I don't need any hoppers as I've got too many already... from Yeoman to EWS to Network Rail and Load Haul, the list goes on...

Once again, thank you Zec for your help and for pointing me towards your excellent Ballast Plough...

Time to do some overnight track repairs...

Hi guys
I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that they were for 09+ only.

I'm glad you like them though. I've got a slight upgrade for the plough planned, plus a demo route that I need to upload for the pack ;)

Thanks Zec, I was going to mention that it doesn't work in Trainz Classics UK, but thank you for pointing this out...

thanks

If you go to the Download Station, and click on all boxes from TRS2004 through to TRS2010, also click on the description box, and type in the search box "PLASSER", this should give you a whole host of track equipement made by Alien3...

Also if you look through this thread, from page one, you'll notice there are links to CDP files,

the links will look something like this.cdp,

click on these and you will get track machinery, also some pictures on this thread, also lead you to CDP's, just click on the pictures to get the files...

Also search for these as well... VR QN Ballast Hopper plus a VR N Ballast Plough, these are made by our good friend Zec Murphy, and these look great, with or alongside track machinery, they only work in TRS2009 and TRS2010...

Hope this helps

Track Machines

I found this site that might assist for those of you who would enjoy modeling versions used in Australia.
http://www.plasser.com.au/en/start/index.htm
The site displays all of the machines, thier actions and drawings of each peice of equipment.
There are links to the parent company with documentation all of its equipment world wide.
Just a thought!

Thank you for this helpful information, anyone who is thinking about creating these in Trainz, may now have a better chance, as this page looks very detailed...
