Track freeways in TS2010

Just got TS2010 and came across several objects called Track Freeways xxx which are freeway on-ramps. They have connection points like other road-type fixed track objects, yet I'm unable to find any road splines that will connect to them. Obviously I'm doing something wrong or don't understand how to use them. Can you help?

Figured some of it out

Apparently I should have looked in the track menu where there are some splines that look like roads that will attach. Does this mean that these can be used for driveable vehicles such as buses?
