I like the Tidewater Point, adding a second Yard is a good idea.
I like building RAIL ROADS with more than one Yard, especially near the industries.

This looks really good compared to the original Tidewater route in Trainz.

I cut my Surveyor teeth reworking Tidewater to my liking. To my credit I was able to avoid purple road bed.

I'm just returning to Trainz (2004) after a few years' break. I'm reworking Tidewater too - seems like a good intro to what you can do in Surveyor and with Driver Schedules. My biggest headache is that single line ... my AI trains keep getting in each others' way.

SuperFudd, did you (or anyone) keep a list the changes you made when you modified Tidewater ? I'm just curious. Everyone's customisation would probably be different, but I'd be interested to see a list of what you did.

Nope. No list kept. It has been a year or two. I added tunnel portals to the main line the branch connects to. I added a passenger station to each end of the branch. I added passing sidings to improve AI operations. Probably more.

Looks like alot of us like that route. I really enjoyed the route when I first got into Trainz. I've been working on an update myself for about 6 months. Should be fun seeing all the different variations when we are all done.

Not meaning to be rude here, but this really isn't the universal Tidewater thread. It was originally started by me so I have an obvious say in this. Dont get me wrong, I love dredging up older routes and running them for old times sake... But this project of mine is dead so I will notify the mods to come in and close the thread here shortly.

Well it is to bad your having the thread closed. There are some of us who really like the Tidewater route and modifing it so it works and runs better in newer versions of Trainz. I thought that discussing projects of interest was what the forum was all about. I guess in your case that would be wrong.
