Thumbs depicting Route

Not sure about this so putting it out there.
I wish to include a few screenshot thumbs for route creation. I am aware of the process to configure the images to the configuration file as 'image1.jpg or whatever but have no idea whatsoever where to place the images. I have discovered they need a container to locate/host them, but what is, and, where is the container? Do I have to create one and place it somewhere?

The images are saved inside the route asset itself, the same place where the config.txt file is stored.

1. Open up the route in explorer using CM
2. copy the graphic files into the open folder with the edited config.txt file
3. close explorer
4. submit the open asset in CM

Assuming there are no errors, that's all.

The images don't go in a container - they are simply included in the asset folder along with all other files used for the asset.
