That fall color would be killer in a shot like this.

Running on the north side of lake Michigamme...testing signals. It's still running in the background...I sent it down to Marquette, and then told them geeps to come back...be and hour or so.

And BTW...I finally figured out the Neguanne High School, CN tracks issue.

There was a Mine there. It I know was the last mine within the city limits to close...and I think it was the last under ground copper mine in Michigan to close....I was the Mather Mine B...and all the rail I'd seen on googe, and the darn highschool... cause it was still there even after being closed in 1979. The Highschool as it existed today occupies on the the Mather Mine buildings. The other rail I restored west towards Ispeming....was Mather Mine A.

The Bridge made it.....

I installed double track back from pine hill....to Negaunee, to Ishpeming and all the way out to Michigamme....I like driving by trains when I'm driving trains...

I've come across a lot of pics on the web if you need any links, on color shape contrast or texture...and just how generally these thing get beat up in a work-a-day let me know..

Any resources are welcomed. As you may or may not know, I can only truly reskin the side of these cars.

Thats why I have random spots of rust and paint on the carbody.

Cheers,
Joshua

Anybody got more time then me...

Count the sqaures....they are not all there, but that's OK, neither is the Rail.

How the hell do you keep motivated? I hav trouble sticking to a route when I'm doing it board by board, let alone that many in one go!

If I were you I'd have scrapped this a looooooong time ago.

Keep up the good work.

Matt.

I went away from it for a while...but I work 7 days a week for 7 months straight, then take 5 months off in my work. I start working next month when the weather breaks up here, and work until it starts snowing again. By next fall I'll be ready for this again.

The pulpmill looks great. I was going to use the pulpmill that you used as a prototype in my route but wanted to spruce it up a bit. Can you post some more pics of yours to give me some ideas what to do?
