Awesome Trestle! Would it be too much to ask for a taller version?

And about the engine shed, I would like a light coat of oil on the floor.

As I work the Trestle out the next few days I'll add another 12' section....I added 12' to it today. This is why I needed that thing...almost all the docks in Marquette Bay were built in the Bay then a Trestle Track was run out to the Dock. Like the old Ore Dock pictured here.

The Bridge Bendies...together.

Do need to darken them Trestles though...A few very minor alignment issues...that takes the most time...very small though on this one.

There is a Very Very good Reason for all this bridge building.

Number one is there are tons of rivers and elevated cross overs like this on the Dem. But many of the Mines loaded cars at grade....then pushed them up a trestle to a dumper/loader that was above the loading tracks.. You can't do this Dem without the Trestle...can't. So if you are me...you learn how to build a bendy trestle..then build it. As you see here there is one more level at harbour to the big redish thing which will be a 4 track bridge with a unloading section...also know as an Iron Ore Dock with unloading capability. Also in this Bay was a Merchanside Dock, and behind me an Texaco Oil Dock.

So once competed Oil, Coal, Merchandise IN, Taconite Ore OUT with Ship Interaction if you want it. This will be an interactive port, or I won't do it at all.

Well that's enough playing for today. Just testing this stuff out....really.

Tomorrow I'll get out the maps, line everything up and set it in place.

But these things are sure fun to play with, and I'm finally able to see something get done here. and get of sense of where I'm going down here.

I like these trestles...I'm so glad I made them. It's starting to look real.

I elected to go with a 1915 rail placement in Marquette. I'm doing that primarily because I put the Duluth South Shore & Atlantic, DSS&A, South main back in last winter from Marquettes' East Yard which I am hovering over. The west entry to that is where the CN unit sits left foreground.

If you look way back to the left there are a couple Wisconsin Cental Units.....those are on a track connection from the Lower Yard, not pictured further left(south). That connection came into the East Yard or out to the Ore Dock where the old CN unit sits. Full ore cars where hauled out to the Ore Dock from the Lower Yard and Emptied. Empty Ore cars were removed from the Dock and brought back into the East Yard for the their trip back up the the Iron Range. The Yard right beside the Lake that goes under the Ore Dock Trestles and the Merchandise Dock Trestle where more Wisconsin Centeral Units sit out on it in the lake. That was to servie the Lumber Dock which the Chicago & Northwest Unit sits. Behind me yet is the Texaco Oil Dock, and way out where the Black paint is the Lake Superior & Ishpeming, LS&I, line comming in from way over by the Light House through town accross the Dead River and their West Yard. The West Yard had it's own Ore Dock and Lumber Docks.

Guess I gotta build some docks next.

Very nice. Just downloaded some of this.

This may seem odd to you, but can I request a version of the YR IOI Super Pocket Loader 01 Small WIP as a industry to load woodchips?

Once I get back to that....for now you can use the Asset multiple industry basic and set it up to do that.

Found a pic of the Lower Harbor Coal Dock. I was going to use Maddy25's rail to barge asset. But this was a gantry...I know ther is one already in Trainz, but it aint gonna work here. SO, with the Other docks I'm building I'll add this to it...and peirs. There ain't a decent peir....Michigan Pier in all the trainz asset base. SO i'll make my own peirs and breakwaters. This one is going to be Wicked once it's done.

I guess this was ment to be. I stripped the Trestle Structure from the Bridge Track, saved it. Then Created YR Bridge Track. Show here in the YR Bridge Plate Girder 2 Track which is almost finished.

I think I'll update those 1 Track Plates I just uploaded yesterday when I do to verson 3, using all home grown assets on the units.

Very nice work and thanks for sharing it with the rest of the community. I for one will be downloading these items.

That's what it's all about isn't it? There's just one thing I might mention...if you like something I did, it's AOK to clone it for a way to back it up. Because once I release an update the origional model you liked will be overwritten and lost forever by the Newest version. And I'm on a learning curve here and tend to move back and forth between assets updating older ones with tricks I just learned. SO, don't consider my Assets static chances are I'll change them as I learn more. That's the way it should be right?
