As you can see....

I've reconnected it to the main. If I can't find any history on it any suggestions on an industry to kitbash up. The route has Iron ore, timber, paper, grain, scrap steel and I'm gonna put in a container yard to the North before Houghton...to use of those new jointed rail well cars. I'll have oil too.

I'm not gonna run out of room as you can see. Any ideas?

Oh, I see It's not a spur...it's.

an old CNW line to the north of the current CN Line. At least that's where I look next. In actuality it's probably a snowmobile trail now, but this is a trainz game...so I'll put the line back in. It splits from the current LS&I track at Boston Lake, Viking Junction about a mile or 2 west and then takes a direct route to Michigamme vs going down to Humbolt Junction, Champion then to Michigamme. It followed, or the Utility lines followed it from Boston Lake...best I can see from Google.

I'll get it sorted out...sooner or later.

Euphod & Dave Snow....

I need a rural post office....a town ain't a town without a post office. And the ones on the DLS are for cities. See it looks stupid in a rural setting.

And...a BP service station, the are seems to be populated with BP gas stations, and steak houses. Google it up.

BTW...

Sure is looking good there.....Keep up the good work :Y:

You're still my bestist buddy, even though I'm twice your age, SON. I see you are reworking your line for TS12. If you got any questions..give me a shout. I made all I need to make this year, and got enough for bills till next May, and It's hotter then sxit so I ain't working.

Hey Wawasoo, have you ever considered just placing the signs/lights/etc. as seperate objects? Some times the old-fashioned way of doing stuff works out better. ;) The YARN settings are saved to the session I believe, whereas seperately-placed objects can be saved to the route, just like buildings and trees. ;)

Regards.

Maybe I sould look at a replacement Yarn Library...one that saves to the route and not the sesson....next winter

Hmmm...now you have me thinking. There is the possibility that I may need to write at least an extension of the original YARN library for my YARN2 project. If I do not need to write such an extension for any thing else, it would probabvly be worth writing one just to add the ability for the user to save the settings to the route through naming the asset a special way, like Boat's ATLS system. :D

Anyway, nice work on the route! That river looks great. :D

Regards.

Map...

All the track is now layed..and boy does that change the dynamics...of this route. The arrowed areas ar new track for the Chicago & Northwestern. It my look confusing, but it makes sense.

Here's a look...

at those CNW restored rails coming down from the north(left) from Clowry to intersect and pass over the mainline between Humboldt and Champion. Shot just east of Champion.

It' a bit of a woopdy do....actually.

Coming down from the north...it can continue west on the main towards Houghton, MI, at bottom right head south to Republic MI. But it is a woopdy do crossing that double track main. Speed limit won't be 40.

But there is a method to this madness.

The double track main on the L'Anse subdivision. Allows for a west bound and east bound siding here in Champion. This Clowry Line allows for the interchange of frieght, between Boston Lake, Champion, Martins Landing, Humbold Mine and Michigamme.
