The Montana Inspiration...

Well, I think i'll post a project log of a route i'm kinda working on right now. Just an inspiration of Montana. Not to mention the random patches of trees that arn't part of a national forest, tall Milwaukee Road trestles, and... kids riding their horses to school:hehe: . Anyways, here are some shots i've taken recently. The first few shots are here:

The SD9's are payware from VMD. Now available again after they put their site back up.

Welcome to Burke, Montana (so far) (fictional in Montana but real in Idaho).

I typed in the ZIP code in the 4th shot and it turns out it's Sarles, North Dakota. I think i'll type in the ZIP code for Burke, Idaho tommorow instead...

Are you using the 5m grid? The town textures look a bit big.

I don't know what i'm using. I'm just using the regular grid.

I just filled in the grid with one texture and added others into it.

WOAH!!!!! It's really been a while since i've posted anything in this. There isn't really much updated on the route. So far, there is some more track, concrete foundations on the trestles,the water splines have been replaced with the regular water, and the town of Burke is now Basin (real town in Montana). Here are some more shots i've taken recently

Don't worry, the track is pointed the other direction.
