The Grid-less Grid?

I was doing some route clean up looking for object assets that had made their way into the session-layer and found this.

There's a board square that doesn't have a grid on it in F9 mode.

Huh?

Is this a new, undocumented feature?

My guess is that the grid is there but hasn’t rendered completely. Just needs a screen refresh. Try zooming way, way out, then back in to force the stupid lazy program to re-draw the screen. Same problem occurs when toggling between snow and non-snow seasonal conditions.

Sometimes getting a texture and reapplying the same texture in the same place will force the grid/texture to appear.
