The General, a US Civil war locomotive

I could do that. I need to select a few places to offer it, and look into those sites. Then I'll need to keep track so that when I have an update or two, it won't be too difficult to offer the new versions. Also, my engine has other dependancies that would be available on the DLS. Not sure how that would work on a private website? Unless they get uploaded as a "CDP" file?

Thanks!

After getting it from the private site, install it to cmp, and it will find the dependencies for you even if the engine itself isn't on the DLS.

Could I get an advance copy?:D Well, I guess I'll keep waiting, then. I do live very close to where the real thing is displayed. How about having it put on one of these sites:
-trainz.luvr.net
-carsoncarshops.com
-trainzone.co.nz
-trainzeasternroutes.com *Actually, that's just my group, and doesn't have very much to do with your engine, yet...

Well, I do hope you'll find somewhere to put it, as we're all very excited to try it out.

Well, I've tried to upload it twice. Once it said it had a specific error, (enginespecs had a "bogus" email address within it I believe. Simply edited the email address and resubmitted.)

NOW I get "Package Image: - Image for Package not found."

I'm assuming, (yes, I know), that it didn't like the image file that was in my "_art" directory, alhough Trainz does not have a problem with it. I DO have to admit that my "image file" is not exactly what the book describes, nor do I have an "icon" file.

Are these a MUST? Or am I looking at the wrong thing here?

The DLS and TRS2006 now use the thumbnails container in the config file for the names of the files to use. For the DLS it's use is now manditory. The files are just added to the same directory as the config. If you can't get what you need from the ccg (try page 105 in 2006 ccg to start), post a question in the content creators forum - it's a confusing issue to a lot of people.

THE GENERAL IS NOW AT: http://trainzproroutes.com/downloads/index.php

The ENGINE is in the ENGINE / LOCOMOTIVES section and the tender is in the ENGINES PARTS section. Unknown if the tender will be moved to the ENGINE section in the future.

ALSO: It will be available at: http://www.trainzone.co.nz/ hopefully soon. I just LOVE Trainzones website and the products he offers. The GENERAL looks beautiful with the surrounding scenery.

I'll post when it is available on the DLS.

I have no problem uploading to anyone elses site(s). I'll contact some of them and see if they want to post it also.

ENJOY!

Terry

Look down at the 'Ws'. (Double yous) It's under 'W'. Don't forget to COMMIT it.

Look for W & A RR for Western & Atlantic RR.

Should be there.

There is one part called "Steam-Engine Specification for WA3 4-4-0"
Another called "Wood Loco Fuel"

Everything else has "W & A RR"
