the game is wrong

Some times there are such crashes by me. Mostly (sometimes had to do two times) the crashes stop after a hard restart (earlier called coldstart). Windows normaly performes a short start (earlier called warmstart) and reuses many of its system datafiles files, that will be build while running. And some electronic parts may have to need a powerles restart to flatten stored power rest.
Early in the 1990th and 2000th we had some kind of problems that we didn't know from where they came. But make the computer powerless (all cable off) and press then the power button for more then 15 seconds to flatten the electronics. May be its possibly here too?
This is only a suggestion from the past ...

The game company needs to deal with this problem, my computer hardware is strong or as a solution, let's make software adjustments, whatever needs to be done

Cause this happens with other ressource consuming software too, and my two computers are "strong" too, and this helps sometimes for a couple of time, it may be technical based. My post was an ideas to a crash reason that has nothig to do with any game software producer. In this special case the game company isn't able to flatten any electronics hardware.
So please try it and if the game runs longer and better, tell us here please.

How offten the crashes happen?

It happened to me many times as well, No errors, Just freezes. I have had it happen more often during bulk asset updates.

Coremuze and Nugget2225. It would be a good starting point if you posted the build number of Trainz that you are using. If you are not sure then this is the number at the bottom left of the Trainz Launcher screen (where you select Start Trains, Manage Content, Trainz Settings and Content Store.

In my case the build number is 122411

what should i do

Just some thoughts:

1. Could it be a memory leak, although for me no other programs suffer at all.
2. Could it be that Windows dirvers are for DirectX 12? Don't know just clutching at straws here.

The game can freeze for me with no user interaction. Example from the other day...
Started Trainz, loaded route with Surveyor 2.0. Did nothing at all, made a cup of coffee, came back and game and frozen.

Have not observed this at all with Surveyor 1.0

I've taken to saving edits now every 5 minutes. So frustrating. Never ever had this before.

I'm on build 119450

John

@nugget2225, the Trainz build in your signature. Is a beta build, the one before last. I had all sorts of problems with it locking up with the ECML route. But smaller routes were fine. Try updating your beta build or go back to the standard Trainz Plus, version.
