The Frisco High Line

Flemington, Mo.

It seems the small town of Flemington has seen better times including the depot. Almost half the buildings in town are vacant but it looks like Tom's BBQ and the sawmill are still around.

At least the town smells good while Tom is smoking all that beef brisket overnight.

Yay, you're the first one to use my Derelict Truck 04 and Derelict Mixer 01 in a screenshot! Thank you!

You might wanna elevate the Chevy Impala by 0.1m or so, just to get the ground shadow to show properly. I think it helps makes the car sit in the scene rather than on it if you know what I mean.

No thank you needed. Your content multiplies the fun factor of Trainz by 10!

I noticed that too. The problem is when using 1/3 arc DEM data there are a lot of small elevation changes. Sometimes when I make small elevation changes of a vehicle to show the shadow the tires float off the ground on one side. The roll feature helps with this sometimes but not always. Your shadows by themselves are a work around a lot of the time.

dricketts: Your talent on this route is very good..You are showing this route with a lot of Artistry..Your depth of field is Great..You can tell there is a lot of thought going into this..

Thanks Karman.

I would say about 25% of the route is complete. I have most of the hard/boring stuff done completely . Like track, grade, bridges, and main buildings in towns. I still have a lot of ground textures, vegetation, details, details, and some more details to add.

The locos in the most recent pic are GP15's, payware from RRMods. http://rrmods.com/pgp15.shtml
4 locos for $15. It's not a bad deal. They have a lot of details and custom cabs.

Is there any little detail thing I could make for this route that you don't already have? I have a long list of other things to do, but I'd still like to make something specially for your layout if I could. Depends on getting suitable photos of course.
