if any of you guys had blueprints for these stations I will build them.

I was actually looking more at the Chicago CTA when i did the stations, it more follows that in the downtown loop area, because of the tight curves that go around street corners

I myself dont have any drawings of the stations, but i bet i can get you loads of pictures of them, i think the NYCTA and CTA cars have the same door height, so that shouldent be a problem

few more shots, i blocked off two of the streets, since i dont want ubder polys on this, the whole idea of the route when i made it was to make it so that almost everyone could run it, i used the less detailed buildings, and short sectons of city

i have been trying to use as many of Dave Drakes 3D buildings, but i am also using alot of the 2d buildings and the spline buildings, im am getting very good preformance so far, althought beta testing is being...well a pain, alot of map not found errors, and to be honest i have no idea what to look for to check this

One last thing, I currently have the elevated speed limit set at 30 MP for the first straight section, then it drops to 15 MPH for the curve (see below pictures) and yard area around the last station. How realistic is that for a choice

One other thing that has been added, but not pictures of it yet, I added an extra single track line around another corner, just for more yard space. all the stations and yard tracks in the WHOLE route can hold 10 R33/36 series cars max, or 8 75' cars as in the R27/30A/32 series

I would also like to report (in this thread) the first accident on the new line extension

If whoever is beta testing has that problem,it's because they don't have SP1,because if i recall you have to have SP1 to run your route right?

yes i believe so, since i have it installed, although i have not had any testing without SP1 so i cant be sure

Hey i just wanted to let everyone know, my harddrive corrupted, so i need to reinstall trainz...and all my other 150 GB worth of software and drivers, basicaly i have to reinstall EVERYTHING

but do not worry, other then some layouts and content i recently downloaded, i did not lose anything, i have the .cpd files for my subway layout and my Narrow gauge layout on both a secondary HD, and one of my Beta testers has sent me the files for the updated subway layout, but it will be at least a week (i have spring break this week) before i can get back into the swing of things, and get back to work

Sorry for the delay, if it makes you feel any better i lose all but a few of my 3D models, the only ones i now have are my Rotary, and my Great Lakes Steamship

Sorry for the double post, but this needs to be said

My Power Supply just died while trying to reinstall everything, so for now, i have lost almost EVERYTHING for trainz, all the payware i had (which was only one thing thank god) all my layouts, downloads, everything

I will be installing trainz on my Laptop to continue work, but now i doubt things will be up and running for at least 2 weeks or more

not to mention my laptop is no nearly as powerful as my PC was, but this has all been thrown at me at once

So give me 2 weeks or so to get up and running, i hope my copy of trainz routes volume 1 and 2 will come very soon, so i dont have to download all the assets for my layout on my new computer, i am downloading SP1 as i type this

so, untill i get this fixed, take care

Get a new power supply then. Just after you do, make sure nothing is spiked.

When i reinstalled the layout, alot of buildings were missing, so i placed new ones in their place, i dont know why this happened, sill trying to figure it out

but i got everything back to normal now, i replaced several speed signs that were missing from the reinstall

I also added some more detail around the Linden area, I hope FRM can finish the stations soon, and even though his stations will not be island stations, this section of the yard will remain as is, i like what i did with it

like many content creators, i will not put a timetable as to when its released

it will be released when its done

Getting closer and closer to completion

All thats left to do is replace 1 station with a proper elevated station, however this is set up as an island station, because i have the yard tower and some missalanious detail at the end of the platform, so untill i get an elevated island station, im stuck for now

but i replaced all the other ones, i still need to add crossover bridges however, and more random detail to the elevated area
