here is a question that is burning a hole in my mind. Is it true this route will also contain and underground section aswell as this above sectoin?

I will be taking a break from this however, got into a big fight with my mom last night, having problems with school and all (maybe because i always have friends over.....) but I will continue to update and detail the layout as i get time

well, this route is getting closer to being finished


Because no one decided to help me create the last station i need for this route, I have decided that I will make the station myself using sketchup (only program i know how to use)

It should not be too hard, I plan on using invisible stations, so I will not need to mess with attachment points.

its a free program, but it cannot export into .3ds format without some "clever" ideas and action

thankfully, i know how to do so

Looks like a lot of NYC stations basically. Just change stair placement and overhead.
Good enough that, if it were mine, I'd use it for several stations, modifying it for whatever was needed.

well the route is now (at least untill i decide to add more to it) complete

I finished fixing all the faces for the station. Its not interactive, but with the use of invisible stations, it looks quite nice

I will work on getting it on the DLS in the next day or two

floridarailmaster made it a long time ago for one of John's Traction routes. When the route is released, you will be able to download it from the TER Site. me and FRM came to that agreement a long time ago

I just have a suggestion or two...which would be to have a more modern New-Yorkish green look rather than a German S-Bahn like brown and maybe a 3 track, 2 side platform station?

Im not really for any specific city theme, so far i have been building what I thought looked good, and that last station is no exception, I needed a 2 track island station, so i built one

I hate to bring up old threads, but living in the city (and becoming an ever increasing fan of the NYC Transit systems), I was curious as to where I might find some of the subway cars featured in your screenshots?
I've found various things through the DLS, but it has been giving me trouble recently.
