Everything is sorted , the fence is replaced and three Brushes weight test the repaired embankment.Off to the Station Inn at Ribblehead for some refreshment..:mop:

I ysed to volunteer on a preserved railway and one of the volunteers was very scruffy.He left his filthy coat on the ground and wandered away, and the guy in charge of us picked it up and flung it on the fire! On seeing this the scruffy guy ran over, yanked it out of the flames....and put it back on! BTW in your 4th shot shouldn't those underground telegraph wires be in cable troughing? :p
 
A pastoral scene at Smardale as a J39 shunts the tiny goods yard.You can hear trains on the s & C from here...:mop:

Trying to keep this thread alive..:( ...A pair of Metrovick Co-Bos have been "looped" at Blea Moor due to alterations by Lewisner, including point rodding, working water cranes and trap points..:cool:
