Bit more on Mac TC3. It seems the figure at the top of the window is some sort of frame rate. By switching to Direct X and changing vertical sync to full rate I have upped the frame rate to usable. I've run through Morning Commuter and Anhydite for Marchon and the only crashes have been from the trains not the program.
