Tall warehouse industrial shed

I'm looking for a shed that looks similar to this
nkpontheTVRR.jpg

I did a search and couldn't find the right size. Is there any in Trainz that's about four squares across, tall, and has a very low angled roof? There is a warehouse spline with an open end but it's not tall enough. I'm intending to use it as locomotive shops. It doesn't have to have the building extensions on the sides, it can be a simple rectangle.

4 square?

When you say 4 squares do you mean 5 or 10 metre ones? A shed 40 metres across would be a pretty big shed, but one 20 metres isn't so bad.

PS You might try some of my Commercial Ind Units.

I have a shed I'm making that is 390x90 meters 15 meters high so I'm not thinking its so big.. LOL but yeah it is in the real scale of things... mine are purpose built Storage warehouses.

there seems to be a large number these size sheds used over here on my route...

The Diesel Locomotive Depot is the wrong size, wrong roof, etc. but I think I will settle with the Industrial Hanger spline by martinvk and stack 2 together with the backside on the second one facing front to give the illusion of a tall building. I can use a type on sign for the words on the front.

I made some big buildings for the American Railcar Company.
Bldg300,1,2,3,4,5,6,7.
Kuids 2:97008:2948300:1,301,302,303,304,305,306,307.

Bldg304 is build-in in TS12.

Cheers,

Bill.

What was the spam post? It wasn't me. I was asking for help in finding a certain size and type of building. Did someone spam my thread?

Oh, thanks, Willem, I found those buildings but most are too long for what I need. Unless I bury half of one in the mountain since I will be locating it next to a hillside. The one on the bottom seems more correct size but maybe a bit too wide, and not tall enough. The long building on the right seems right width, right height, but too long and too many extra things added to it, and the roof. Also some of the buildings don't show the walls on the inside. The spline building I found is not tall enough but I could stack another one on top and reverse it so it shows a wall instead of an opening. With a spline, I can adjust the length of the building to ensure it's the correct length. And the width of the spline is about 3 grid squares wide, about the correct width.

Shed

Here is a Box I knocked up in 5 minutes jusy now as an example. Is this the type of cladding?

Ignore the shape of the shed, that can easily be changed.

I don't normally make things for other folk but I also know only too well the frustration of finding the right building.

Raised the roof

Here is a version similar to the one in your shot....

The size is a bit small but this is just a test run. It is easy enough to make it longer and wider.

Thanks, but I already found what I'm going to use. I stacked two Industrial Hangers by martinvk on top of each other, and have the one on the top have a solid wall on each end. It looks close enough to the locomotive shops building I wanted.

Dear Ron

nice work angela
but thats to be expected from you
you are a whizz at this

cheers

Hiya Ron,
You like my shed? I am going to improve it, higher and longer with open doors so the interior can be accessed either by locos or trucks.

This is for you as I seem to have had my offer thrown back in my face and I will not ever offer to help anybody else again. It's their choice if they would rather cobble something together than have a custom piece of content, but my time is limited and I have a mass of work on right now with a whole massive series of houses.

Now, I assume you would prefer doors up, that makes sense, would you like doors both ends or just one?

Would you prefer a smoke outlet along the top or say 3 smoke release funnels with cowls?

I will not post on this thread again but will put a shot of it on my own content thread 'I am back' as it progresses later today, you know where that thread is don't you.

I'll make for 2004 and test it up to 2010.

Cheers mate,

Angela

The building will fit nicely in my route as the old loco sheds in South Africa were made with corrugated iron. I look forward to its release.
Please accept my thanks for making an item that of us will apprecaite.

You will need to check my thread in Freeware to see the latest incarnation of this asset, it has changed dramtically, as I said it would.

Hey Angela, I didn't mean to reject your help, but the building I found I like and the interior looks similar to the loco shed that I'm modeling. You can continue with your project if you like.
