System Req for TS2009

I'm really excited about TS2009, but wondering whether I will have to upgrade/replace my system to get the performance from 2009 that I get in 2006.
I currently have 3.4G processor (Intel), 3G RAM, 256MB Video RAM on GEForce 6800.
My monitor is 20" Viewsonic 1600X1200 plus a second smaller LCD monitor at 1024X768.
I don't expect to be able to use the second monitor, except possibly if tool bars could be moved there, that would be really nice.
My main concern is that 2009 will want more video RAM or a faster video card and will run poorly on my "dated" system.

From my point of view, all you need is to get a video card with as much RAM as possible, better wait until DDR5 is more popular and prices come down a little, try for PCIExpress 2.0. Otherwise you should be fine with what you have.

PCIE 2.0 may require a new motherboard, as it is not common on motherboards made more than a year ago, as it is still relatively new.

However, to the OP, the only thing you need to do, as stated, is to upgrade your graphics card. If you do this right, it should cost you about $400
