Oh and i got a DLS ticket best decition of my life :D

Make sure that your drivers are up to date (graphics/DirectX)

Secondly, try completely closing the game before re-opening it.

Also, what is your build number (bottom-right of main menu screen)

Shane

Run Trainzdiag (in bin) and see if your video card is good.

Temporarily: Disconnecting your Eithernet or by turning off your wireless router, and turning off your antivirus, as well as windows sidebar and any othe large process, will increase framerates as much as 100%.

Aslo try: canyourunit

DirectX 11? You still need to have DirectX 9.0C installed alongside it. (DirectX 9.0C and DirectX 11 will run side-by-side)

Shane

Can you post your TrainzDiag log? It may help identify or remove possibilities in relation to the problem.

Also, check in the Trainz Options box (Options on the Launcher) and check the settings there.

Just noticed a potential problem - according to that, your processor is too slow for Trainz to run well.

Also, as you appear to have an integrated graphics card, that may be making things worse.

Shane

The only way of dealing with a slow processor and an integrated graphics card is to replace both - someone else on here may be able to advise on the best options.

Shane

Good idea - remember, if you had to install SP1 before, you will have to do so again without opening Trainz first.

I have a feeling that the system may be misinforming TrainzDiag, or that the processor is indeed slow.
