Suggestions for Jointed Rail (Not Locomotives)

Yes!, I would also like to see concrete tracks to match the ballast and rails of the RTXT Series of tracks. I would also like to see a ballast texture update for the current track pack that does not have the dirty - oil stain look down the centre of the track , but rather a more clean look to it such as track in remote areas or between towns etc. Modern main line eletric switches and modern manual yard switches with matching sleeper colour and sleeper aligment to the RTXT track would be a very much welcome addition.

Concrete ties are on the to-do list for rtrax, though I'm sure issues will crop up with people trying to make switches with them instead of the wooden tie versions.

The only thing keeping me from doing non-oil stained versions of what exists already is that without some proper planning the track list can very quickly spiral out of control:

Right now there's three shades of gray, black, and salt & pepper ballast types, each of those types has three weights, each weight comes in welded and jointed, and each of those comes with polished rail heads or rusty... that's already 5x3x2x2=60 types in the dropdown window. Add clean ballast versions to each of those and suddenly there's 120 to pick from. Add a new tie type and that doubles again to 240 (!)

Side note, UP is swapping out wooden ties for concrete tie switches in areas. Saw a video on YouTube of them doing, interesting how it worked.

Sounds like something he needs to address, as he's not Jointed Rail per their team page.

Seeing as JR has a few modern day Gunderson-Greenbrier 5188CF 3 bay hoppers available. How about some modern day 4 bay covered hoppers to go along with them? Examples such as the 5188's 4 bay cousin,

and 6351CF 4 bay hoppers.

My suggestion is Frisco and MKT 3 bay covered hoppers. As far as I'm aware there aren't that many models of these two out there for Trainz.

As I recall someone from the JR team posted a couple of screenies of a model of some type of mid-20th century tanker here a few years ago, but it was never released. Same with a pressurized hopper similar to that in msg #1,377, but again, the item was never released. How we get JR to change that and maybe release these items?
